High Five for Friday

This was the first full week at home we’ve had since we landed in America! I’ll certainly high five for that!

1. We celebrated our 7th anniversary on Monday. I made heart-shaped pancakes and took the husband breakfast in bed. The kid decided to join us, I didn’t have him a nice little tray with a drink. As I’m giving him his pancakes on a makeshift tray (a cookie sheet) he yells out: hey, where’s my drink? We have a lot of work ahead of us in the ‘marriage material’ department!

3. We went out and cut our tree (outfit post to come) and carved out some time to trim it. Most of our Christmas decor is in Turkey, so we went with homemade ornaments and my husband's childhood ornaments. Oliver enjoyed eating the Santa chocolates and hot cocoa. Maybe next year he will actually put at least one ornament on the tree.

4.The husband planned a fun outing for our anniversary. We did some Christmas shopping in a town nearby and enjoyed some yummy dinner. For dessert, he had to indulge in some Cinnabon cinnamon rolls. 🙂

5. I like our little boy’s hair a little on the long side, but he was starting to grow a mullet. So off we went to the hairdresser. He loved the final results, my little model in the making!

Tell me watcha thinkin'

What’s this?
